  • 'World Funeral' was the culmination of the most generic and uninspired era in Marduk's vast and varied discography. The swedish black metal stalwarts were dangerously verging on becoming a self-parody, and their reputation as a solid, reliable black metal powerhouse (cemented by their classic early-to mid's output) was steadily declining.
